islandsmobile is a telecommunication carrier in Japan offering unique sms/email conversion service between Japan and the Philippines.

Islandsmobile's text messaging service is neither handset dependent nor network dependent. This means that islandsmobile connects people between Japan and the Philippines via any mobile handset as well as any PC-based email client (Japan origination).
Japan's all major mobile carriers: NTT Docomo, au (KDDI) Softbank (a.k.a Vodafone Japan), and Willcom offer 3G or more technologies and services that enable all mobile users in Japan to send email directly from their handsets. Messages sent out from their handsets reach islandsmobile's mail server in the Philippines directly. Emails are converted into SMS by islandsmobile's SMS forwarder server and are then delivered to corresponding recipients and vice versa. islandsmobile interconnects people who are away from each other.
